A few short years ago, Britax made car seats. Period.
Since that time, it’s introduced a few stroller models that have been successful among parents. So they became a car seat company that also has some popular strollers.
We think that image may change permanently with the 2014 Affinity stroller; launching in the US around early spring 2014. The new Affinity should put Britax square in the middle of “stroller land” as a maker of exceptional seats AND premium strollers that can go toe-to-toe with other stroller makers.
The Affinity’s design is polished and cohesive, the materials are very nice, the frame is sturdy, push is excellent, and function is great. It’s a stroller that absolutely feels like it’s coming from a top stroller company, not from a “car seat” company that also makes strollers.
The Britax Affinity stroller comes with three frame color choices: black, white, or silver. The frame comes with a basic gray toddler seat.
For parents to be able to mix and match, the Affinity color kit comes in a handful of bold – as well as subtle – choices. The color kit includes a cozy seat liner, basket liner, sun canopy, and harness strap covers.
The Affinity has an exceptional push, easy steering, and smooth ride.
BRITAX AFFINITY STROLLER FEATURES
As the new flagship in the Britax fleet, we expect the Affinity to be priced comparably to similar premium strollers available.
